Kettermans Always First Fruits – November 1st, 2024

Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers is Ketterman’s Jewelers selected charity for November’s First Fruits. Ketterman’s will donate 10% of their proceeds from Friday, November 1st, so it is a great day to get some holiday shopping done!

LVC Vaccine Clinics

Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers will be hosting two vaccine clinics that are open to the public. The first one will be on Thursday, October 10th at Madison House and the second one will be held on Thursday, November 7th at the Arc of Loudoun. Vaccines are free with most insurance, so please bring an ID and an insurance card.

30th Anniversary Gala! – May 3, 2025

Celebrate 30 years of LVC with us! Our gala will be held at Brambleton Corner Clubhouse from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets will be available for purchase on January 2nd.

Our keynote speaker will be the Honorable Phyllis Randall, Chair of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors. Also joining us as a special guest will be U.S. Representative Jennifer Wexton, who serves Virginia’s 10th District.

Care Receiver Picnic – September 28th, 2024 

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the picnic this year! We really lucked out with the weather. Thank you to Wegmans of Leesburg, Chick-fil-A, Giant Pharmacy, the Loudoun Medical Reserve Corps, the ENDependence Center of Northern Virginia, the Loudoun County Health Department, the Arc of Loudoun, and the other donors and partners that made the picnic and vaccine clinic possible.

WHEELCHAIR-ASSISTED TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM!!

On Wednesday, November 1st, LVC is proud to launch our Wheelchair-Assisted Transportation (WAT) program! Our ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 12 NOON at LVC’s new home (as of January, 2024) – 750 Miller Drive, SE, Leesburg.

GiveChoose 2024

Due to the wonderful support during GiveChoose, Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers was able to raise $6500! These funds will go towards the support of our Wheelchair- Assisted Transportation (WAT) Program. Our new program is allowing us to transport wheelchair users, helping these neighbors to live healthier, happier, and more connected lives. And to reach more members of our community, this year we are planning to hire additional part-time staff: a second Van Driver, an Outreach Coordinator, and a Van Assistant.

Care Receiver Picnic – September 9, 2023

A big THANK YOU to all our volunteers who drove a care receiver to our annual care receiver picnic held at Algonkian Park, and to the generous businesses who donated food and other items (Giant, Wegmans, Chantel’s Bakery, Chick Fil-A, Lidl). The weather was perfect. Our care receivers enjoyed delicious food and a few fun rounds of bingo.  We had goodie bags and crafts for each care receiver to enjoy as they left the picnic. It was a fun day had by all.
